Kentucky High School Basketball - Pulaski County can't hold off Somerset

The Somerset Briar Jumpers basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Pulaski County Maroons to 47 in the Briar Jumpers league triumph on Friday.

The Briar Jumpers now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rowan County for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 20.

The Maroons (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Montgomery County was nudged by Hazard (Hazard, KY), 83-49, in a non-league contest.
