Southeast Spartans (Oklahoma City, OK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Santa Fe South Saints (Oklahoma City, OK), 51-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Southeast upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Spartans host Marshall (Oklahoma City, OK) to clash with the Bears in a 5A District 2 bout on Monday, January 8. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 2-3.

Next up, the Saints clash with the Non Varsity Opponent (, ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Santa Fe South will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
