The Seton LaSalle Rebels (Pittsburgh, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Steel Valley Ironmen (Munhall, PA), 52-43 in Friday's league test.
The Rebels (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA). The Antelopes go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Avonworth went down by Hampton (Allison Park, PA), 67-54, in a non-league test.
The Ironmen now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Keystone Oaks for a WPIAL 3A 2 test on Tuesday, December 19. Steel Valley will encounter a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 62-55 league win over Sto-Rox (McKees Rocks, PA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 1-3.
