Tennessee High School Basketball - South Gibson tipped by Union City

The Union City Golden Tornadoes basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting South Gibson Hornets to 59 in the Golden Tornadoes non-league triumph on Friday.
The Golden Tornadoes now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dyer County for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16. Union City will meet a Choctaws team coming off a 48-35 non-league win over Ripley (Ripley, TN). The Choctaws record now stands at 7-0.
The Hornets (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Humboldt (Humboldt, TN). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Humboldt nudged Crockett County (Alamo, TN), 75-39, in a non-league contest.
