The St. Ansgar Saints basketball team (St. Ansgar, IA), was toppled 65-51 in Friday's non-league battle with the host West Fork Warhawks (Sheffield, IA)
The Warhawks now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Osage for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 19. West Fork will confront a Green Devils team coming off a 72-42 non-league win over Nashua-Plainfield (Nashua, IA). The Green Devils record now stands at 8-0.
The Saints (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Rockford (Rockford, IA). The Warriors come into the Corn Bowl battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Rockford beat Central Springs (Manly, IA), 63-54, in a non-league battle.
