The Wilmington Wildcats basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Stoneham Spartans to 39 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arlington for a Middlesex contest on Tuesday, December 19. Wilmington will meet a Spy Ponders team coming off a 57-46 league win over Winchester (Winchester, MA). The Spy Ponders record now stands at 1-1.
The Spartans (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Winchester (Winchester, MA). The Red & Black enter the Middlesex contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Winchester was outscored by Arlington (Arlington, MA), 57-46, in a league contest.
