With the victory, West Branch improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Solon (Solon, IA) to play the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Solon won 62-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Marion (Marion, IA)

Next up, the Comets play the Van Buren County Warriors (Keosauqua, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 18. West Liberty will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 65-33 non-league loss to Holy Trinity Catholic (Fort Madison, IA).
