Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Willow Canyon Wildcats (Surprise, AZ) and the host Sunrise Mountain Mustangs (Peoria, AZ), saw Willow Canyon's basketball squad overcome Sunrise Mountain by a tally of 78-61.

With the victory, Willow Canyon improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Kellis (Glendale, AZ) to play the Cougars in a challenge on Wednesday, December 20. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 0-1.
