The Abbeville Yellowjackets basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Goshen Eagles to 24 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Friday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Randolph-Clay for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16. Abbeville will meet a Red Devils team coming off a 56-29 league win over Quitman County (Georgetown, GA). The Red Devils record now stands at 5-2.
The Eagles (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Pike County (Brundidge, AL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Pike County was outscored by Carroll (Ozark, AL), 41-17, in a non-league contest.
