The Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets basketball team (Iowa Falls, IA), was nudged 43-36 in Friday's league battle with the host Algona Bulldogs (Algona, IA)
The Bulldogs now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Garrigan for a North Central battle on Saturday, December 16. Algona will confront a Golden Bears team coming off a 65-30 non-league win over North Union (Armstrong, IA). The Golden Bears record now stands at 8-1.
The Cadets (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against St. Edmond (Fort Dodge, IA). The Gaels come into the North Central battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, St. Edmond was nudged by Clear Lake (Clear Lake, IA), 48-22, in a league battle.
