In Friday's league outing, the Dawson Eagles (Pearland, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Alvin Yellowjackets (Alvin, TX), by a margin of 65-36.
The Eagles (17-3) will now prepare for their outing against Alief Hastings (Houston, TX). The Bears go into the 6A Region III District 23 outing with a 11-8 record. In their last outing, Alief Hastings was trounced by Pearland (Pearland, TX), 57-56, in a league outing.
The Yellowjackets now own a 9-15 record. They play next when they travel to Alief Taylor for a 6A Region III District 23 outing on Tuesday, December 19. Alvin will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 43-39 league win over Alief Elsik (Houston, TX). The Lions record now stands at 13-6.
