North Carolina High School Basketball - Anson succumbs to Montgomery Central

The Montgomery Central Timberwolves topped the host Anson Bearcats basketball team by a final score of 63-46 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Timberwolves face the Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, December 21. Montgomery Central will attempt to move on its 8-0 season record. The Cavaliers enter the game with a 0-7 record after their 69-28 league loss to Scotland (Laurinburg, NC).

With the defeat, Anson moves to 1-8 on the year. The Bearcats travel to South Stanly (Norwood, NC) to face the Rowdy Rebel Bulls in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 19.
