The Mountain View Vikings basketball team (El Monte, CA), was overwhelmed 60-7 in Friday's league battle with the host Arroyo Knights (El Monte, CA)

The Knights now possess a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rosemead for a Mission Valley battle on Monday, December 18. Arroyo will confront a Panthers team coming off a 53-28 league loss to Marshall (Pasadena, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-6.

The Vikings (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against South El Monte (South El Monte, CA). The Eagles come into the Mission Valley battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, South El Monte was overwhelmed by Gabrielino (San Gabriel, CA), 60-18, in a league battle.
