Athens Christian Eagles (Athens, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA), 67-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Athens Christian upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA) to play the Black Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Black Knights come into the bout with a record of 10-1. Central Gwinnett won 73-21 in their recent non-league bout against Therrell (Atlanta, GA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Jackson County Panthers (Jefferson, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Oconee County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record.
