Badger Badgers (Lake Geneva, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Westosha Central Falcons (Salem, WI), 57-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Badger upgrades its record to 2-5 on the season. The Badgers travel to Wilmot (Wilmot, WI) to play the Panthers in a Southern Lakes bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-7. Wilmot lost 71-17 in their recent league bout against Union Grove (Union Grove, WI)

Next up, the Falcons play the Beloit Memorial Purple Knights (Beloit, WI) in a Southern Lakes bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Westosha Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Purple Knights go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 59-55 non-league loss to Jefferson (Rockford, IL).
