The Lee Ganders basketball team (Baytown, TX), was overwhelmed 69-18 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Barbers Hill Eagles (Mt. Belvieu, TX)
The Eagles now possess a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Port Arthur Memorial for a 5A Region III District 17 battle on Tuesday, December 19. Barbers Hill will confront a Titans team coming off a 51-48 league loss to Goose Creek Memorial (Baytown, TX). The Titans record now stands at 6-5.
The Ganders (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Sterling (Baytown, TX). The Rangers come into the 5A Region III District 17 battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Sterling was overwhelmed by Crosby (Crosby, TX), 69-26, in a league battle.
