Nevada High School Basketball - Battle Mountain overwhelms Oasis Academy

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Battle Mountain Longhorns (Battle Mountain, NV) and the host Oasis Academy Bighorns (Fallon, NV), saw Battle Mountain's basketball squad wallop Oasis Academy by a tally of 64-17.

With the victory, Battle Mountain improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Yerington (Yerington, NV) to confront the Lions in a 2A Northern challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Yerington won 56-41 in their recent league challenge against West Wendover (West Wendover, NV)

Next up, the Bighorns confront the West Wendover Wolverines (West Wendover, NV) in a 2A Northern challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Oasis Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 56-41 league loss to Yerington (Yerington, NV).
