Bay Yellowjackets (Bay, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Earle Bulldogs (Earle, AR), 62-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Bay upgrades its record to 4-11 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Marmaduke (Marmaduke, AR) to clash with the Greyhounds in a 2A Region 3 bout on Monday, December 18. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a record of 8-8. Marmaduke won 60-39 in their recent league bout against Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Valley View Blazers (Jonesboro, AR) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. Earle will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Blazers go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 64-49 non-league loss to Jonesboro (Jonesboro, AR).
