The Broaddus Bulldogs basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the host San Augustine Wolves to 49 in the Bulldogs league victory on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chireno for a 2A Region III District 24 contest on Tuesday, December 19. Broaddus will battle a Owls team coming off a 45-42 non-league loss to Joaquin (Joaquin, TX). The Owls record now stands at 8-5.

The Wolves (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Chireno (Chireno, TX). The Owls come into the 2A Region III District 24 contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Chireno was routed by Broaddus (Broaddus, TX), 64-37, in a league contest.
