The Swanville Bulldogs (Swanville, MN) basketball felled the host Browerville Tigers (Browerville, MN), 48-38 in Friday's league test.

The Bulldogs (6-2) will now prepare for their test against East Central (Sandstone, MN). The Eagles go into the A Section 5 test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, East Central was beaten by Hill City/Northland (Hill City, MN), 71-44, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Verndale for a A Section 5 test on Tuesday, December 19. Browerville will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 67-36 league win over Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] (Isle, MN). The Pirates record now stands at 5-1.
