Burley Bobcats (Burley, ID) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Caldwell Cougars (Caldwell, ID), 42-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Burley upgrades its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Bobcats host New Plymouth (New Plymouth, ID) to play the Pilgrims in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Pilgrims come into the bout with a record of 5-5. New Plymouth lost 55-42 in their recent league bout against Nampa Christian (Nampa, ID)

Next up, the Cougars play the Homedale Trojans (Homedale, ID) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Caldwell will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 58-35 league loss to Fruitland (Fruitland, ID).
