The Midway Chargers basketball team scored 86 points and restricted the visiting Butner Eagles to 8 in the Chargers league victory on Friday.

The Chargers now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hanna for a Crossroads contest on Thursday, January 4. Midway will battle a Dragons team coming off a 63-30 league loss to Midway (Council Hill, OK). The Dragons record now stands at 1-7.

The Eagles (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against Calvin (Calvin, OK). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Calvin was routed by Tupelo (Tupelo, OK), 57-16, in a league contest.
