Corn Bible Academy Crusaders (Corn, OK) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Calumet Chieftains (Calumet, OK), 49-33 in a league bout.

With the victory, Corn Bible Academy upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Texhoma (Texhoma, OK) to play the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Red Devils come into the bout with a record of 6-1. Texhoma won 62-19 in their recent non-league bout against Goodwell (Goodwell, OK)

Next up, the Chieftains play the Geary Bison (Geary, OK) in a Washita Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Calumet will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Bison come into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 65-46 league loss to Binger-Oney (Binger, OK).
