Kansas High School Basketball - Chanute ripped by Fort Scott

The Fort Scott Tigers basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Chanute Blue Comets to 39 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Iola for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. Fort Scott will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 53-31 non-league loss to Prairie View (La Cygne, KS). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-5.
The Blue Comets (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Labette County (Altamont, KS). The Grizzlies enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Labette County triumphed over Parsons (Parsons, KS), 62-42, in a non-league contest.
