The Eufaula Ironheads basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the visiting Checotah Wildcats to 37 in the Ironheads non-league victory on Friday.
The Ironheads now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Preston for a non-league contest on Monday, December 18. Eufaula will battle a Pirates team coming off a 63-33 non-league win over Heavener (Heavener, OK). The Pirates record now stands at 5-2.
The Wildcats (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Poteau (Poteau, OK). The Pirates come into the NOAA contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Poteau was defeated by Broken Bow (Broken Bow, OK), 34-28, in a non-league contest.
