Alabama High School Basketball - Phil Campbell thwarts Colbert County

The Phil Campbell Bobcats (Phil Campbell, AL) basketball knocked off the host Colbert County Indians (Leighton, AL), 44-34 in Friday's league test.

The Bobcats (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Dora (Dora, AL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, Dora notched a victory over Corner (Warrior, AL), 60-17, in a league test.

The Indians now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Haleyville for a non-league test on Monday, December 18. Colbert County will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 44-36 non-league loss to Brilliant (Brilliant, AL). The Lions record now stands at 4-7.
