The De La Salle Cavalier (New Orleans, LA) basketball nipped the host Phoenix Spartans (Braithwaite, LA), 52-47 in Friday's non-league test.
The Cavalier (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Slidell (Slidell, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Slidell was tipped by Archbishop Chapelle (Metairie, LA), 40-37, in a non-league test.
