DeWitt Panthers (DeWitt, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Grand Ledge Comets (Grand Ledge, MI), 54-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, DeWitt upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Okemos (Okemos, MI) to play the Wolves in a Capital Area - Blue bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Okemos won 82-14 in their recent league bout against Everett (Lansing, MI)

Next up, the Comets play the Holt Rams (Holt, MI) in a Capital Area - Blue bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Grand Ledge will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 76-51 league win over Waverly (Lansing, MI).
