Dike-New Hartford Wolverines (Dike, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hudson Pirates (Hudson, IA), 68-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Dike-New Hartford upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Wolverines host AGWSR (Ackley, IA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 6-1. AGWSR won 43-29 in their recent league bout against South Hardin (Eldora, IA)

Next up, the Pirates confront the Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels (Reinbeck, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 18. Hudson will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 44-35 non-league loss to Jesup (Jesup, IA).
