Texas High School Basketball - Eastland crushes Peaster

Eastland Mavericks (Eastland, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Peaster Greyhounds (Peaster, TX), 60-30 in a league bout.
With the victory, Eastland upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Breckenridge (Breckenridge, TX) to play the Buckaroos in a 3A Region I District 8 bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Buckaroos come into the bout with a record of 3-16.
Next up, the Greyhounds play the Dublin Lions (Dublin, TX) in a 3A Region I District 8 bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Peaster will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 48-37 league loss to Early (Early, TX).
