The Magnet Cove Panthers basketball team (Malvern, AR), was overwhelmed 59-23 in Friday's league battle with the visiting England Lions (England, AR)
The Lions now possess a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Conway Christian for a 2A Region 5 battle on Tuesday, December 19. England will battle a Eagles team coming off a 41-35 league win over St. Joseph (Conway, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 7-4.
The Panthers (0-11) will now prepare for their battle against Mountain Pine (Mountain Pine, AR). The Red Devils come into the 2A Region 5 battle with a 10-6 record.
