With the win, Evant upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Elks host Priddy (Priddy, TX) to play the Pirates in a 1A Region III District 18 bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Priddy won 42-23 in their recent non-league bout against Round Rock Christian Academy (Round Rock, TX)

Next up, the Tigers play the Priddy Pirates (Priddy, TX) in a 1A Region III District 18 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Gustine will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record.
