North Carolina High School Basketball - Nash Central knocked off by Franklinton

The Franklinton Rams basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Nash Central Bulldogs to 33 in the Rams league triumph on Friday.

The Rams now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lee County for a non-league contest on Monday, December 18. Franklinton will battle a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 53-41 league win over Hoke County (Raeford, NC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 3-1.

The Bulldogs (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Beddingfield (Wilson, NC). The Bruins enter the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Beddingfield ran past Greene Central (Snow Hill, NC), 52-33, in a non-league contest.
