Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the St. Maries Lumberjacks (St. Maries, ID) and the host Genesis Prep Academy Jaguars (Post Falls, ID), saw St. Maries's basketball squad hold off Genesis Prep Academy by a tally of 44-41.
With the victory, St. Maries improves its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks host Potlatch (Potlatch, ID) to confront the Loggers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 20. The Loggers come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Potlatch lost 53-42 in their recent league challenge against Genesee (Genesee, ID)
Next up, the Jaguars confront the Wallace Miners (Wallace, ID) in a 1A I Scenic Idaho challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Genesis Prep Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
