Goldendale Timberwolves (Goldendale, WA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Granger Spartans (Granger, WA), 39-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Goldendale upgrades its record to 2-5 on the season. The Timberwolves travel to Highland (Cowiche, WA) to play the Scots in a 2B Eastern Washington - West bout on Saturday, December 16. The Scots go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Highland lost 56-27 in their recent league bout against Kittitas/Thorp (Kittitas, WA)

Next up, the Spartans play the Connell Eagles (Connell, WA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Granger will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 64-26 non-league loss to Naches Valley (Naches, WA).
