North Carolina High School Basketball - South Charlotte Thunder can't hold off Greater Cabarrus Stallions

The Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting South Charlotte Thunder Thunder to 49 in the Stallions league victory on Friday.

The Stallions now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chatham HomeSchool for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16. Greater Cabarrus Stallions will battle a Thunder team coming off a 49-47 league win over Oak Forest (Wake Forest, NC). The Thunder record now stands at 7-2.

The Thunder (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Chatham HomeSchool (Pittsboro, NC). The Thunder come into the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Chatham HomeSchool edged Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC), 48-33, in a non-league contest.
