The Guthrie Jaguars basketball team scored 37 points and restricted the visiting Loop Longhorns to 28 in the Jaguars non-league victory on Friday.
The Jaguars now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aspermont for a non-league contest on Monday, December 18. Guthrie will battle a Hornets team coming off a 36-35 non-league loss to Spur (Spur, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 3-4.
The Longhorns (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Sands (Ackerly, TX). The Mustangs come into the 1A Region I District 8 contest with a 7-8 record.
