The Johnson City Eagles basketball team scored 26 points and restricted the host Harper Longhorns to 13 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mason for a 2A Region IV District 29 contest on Tuesday, December 19. Johnson City will battle a Punchers team coming off a 45-37 non-league loss to Ballinger (Ballinger, TX). The Punchers record now stands at 6-3.
The Longhorns (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Center Point (Center Point, TX). The Pirates come into the 2A Region IV District 29 contest with a 1-5 record.
