The Hayfield Vikings topped the host Maple River Eagles basketball team by a final score of 68-54 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Vikings face the Southland Rebels (Adams, MN) in a A Section 1 game, on Monday, December 18. Hayfield will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Rebels enter the game with a 1-3 record after their 54-43 league loss to Lanesboro (Lanesboro, MN).
