With the victory, Hazlehurst improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Jefferson Davis County (Bassfield, MS) to confront the Jaguars in a 3A Region 6 challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 6-1.

Next up, the Tigers confront the Mendenhall Tigers (Mendenhall, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Jefferson County will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record.
