The Mountainburg Dragons (Mountainburg, AR) basketball nipped the visiting Hector Wildcats (Hector, AR), 58-55 in Friday's league test.
The Dragons (9-1) will now prepare for their test against Magazine (Magazine, AR). The Rattlers go into the 2A Region 4 test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Magazine got by Scranton (Scranton, AR), 42-41, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to South Side for a non-league test on Monday, December 18. Hector will encounter a Hornet squad coming off a 69-45 league loss to Marshall (Marshall, AR). The Hornet record now stands at 5-13.
