The Hermitage Hermits basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Nevada Blue Jays to 41 in the Hermits non-league triumph on Friday.

The Hermits now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harmony Grove for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. Hermitage will battle a Hornets team coming off a 49-35 non-league win over Junction City (Junction City, AR). The Hornets record now stands at 1-4.

The Blue Jays (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Hampton (Hampton, AR). The Bulldogs enter the 1A Region 8 contest with a 4-4 record.
