North Carolina High School Basketball - Valor Preparatory Academy overwhelmed by Jackson Day

The Jackson Day Mariners basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Valor Preparatory Academy Owls to 17 in the Mariners non-league victory on Friday.

The Mariners now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Corvian Community for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4.

The Owls (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC). The Stallions come into the 1A Metro 8 contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Queen's Grant was routed by Grace Academy (Matthews, NC), 47-24, in a non-league contest.
