Virginia High School Basketball - Liberty tops Jefferson Forest

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Liberty Minutemen (Bedford, VA) and the visiting Jefferson Forest Cavaliers (Forest, VA), saw Liberty's basketball squad knock off Jefferson Forest by a count of 60-50.

With the victory, Liberty upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to Northside (Roanoke, VA) to play the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Northside won 55-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 20. Jefferson Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record.
