The Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Licking Heights Hornets to 39 in the Johnnies league triumph on Friday.

The Johnnies now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harvest Prep for a non-league contest on Sunday, December 17. Johnstown-Monroe will meet a Warriors team coming off a 57-42 league win over Wellington School (Columbus, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 4-3.

The Hornets (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Walnut Ridge (Columbus, OH). The Scots enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record.
