The Roma Gladiators routed the visiting Juarez-Lincoln Huskies basketball team by a final score of 59-20 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Gladiators face the Cigarroa Toros (Laredo, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 30 game, on Tuesday, December 19. Roma will attempt to move on its 19-5 season record. The Toros enter the game with a 11-10 record after their 70-41 non-league loss to Edinburg (Edinburg, TX).
With the defeat, Juarez-Lincoln moves to 2-13 on the year. The Huskies travel to Rio Grande City (Rio Grande City, TX) to face the Rattlers in a 5A Region IV District 30 game on Tuesday, January 2. The Rattlers enter the game with a record of 10-6.
