Lake Hamilton Wolves (Pearcy, AR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Sheridan Yellowjackets (Sheridan, AR), 61-58 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lake Hamilton upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Wolves host Hot Springs (Hot Springs, AR) to play the Trojans in a 5A South bout on Thursday, December 21. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 3-6. Hot Springs lost 60-51 in their recent league bout against Lakeside (Hot Springs, AR)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Fordyce Redbugs (Fordyce, AR) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Sheridan will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Redbugs come into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 48-34 league loss to Ouachita (Donaldson, AR).
