Fans at Friday's league challenge between the South Wasco County Redsides (Maupin, OR) and the visiting Lyle/Wishram Cougars (Lyle, WA), saw South Wasco County's basketball squad wallop Lyle/Wishram by a tally of 85-8.

With the victory, South Wasco County improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Redsides host Jordan Valley (Jordan Valley, OR) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 2-1.

Next up, the Cougars play the Trout Lake Mustangs (Trout Lake, WA) in a Freelance challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Lyle/Wishram will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 50-19 league win over Dufur (Dufur, OR).
