Meadowcreek Mustangs (Norcross, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting McDonough Warhawks (McDonough, GA), 40-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Meadowcreek upgrades its record to 4-8 on the season. The Mustangs host Alpharetta (Alpharetta, GA) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 1-8.

Next up, the Warhawks play the Dutchtown Bulldogs (Hampton, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. McDonough will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 45-24 league loss to Union Grove (McDonough, GA).
