With the win, Medina upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Bobcats host Nueces Canyon (Barksdale, TX) to clash with the Panthers in a 1A Region IV District 31 bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 13-4. Nueces Canyon won 42-27 in their recent league bout against Leakey (Leakey, TX)

Next up, the Buffaloes clash with the Rocksprings Angoras (Rocksprings, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 31 bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Utopia will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Angoras go into the bout with a 16-2 record after their 50-32 non-league win over Miles (Miles, TX).
